AXILLARY HYPERHIDROSIS
The treatment can be applied to both men and women suffering from social discomfort due to excessive underarm sweating. The use of Botox® for this purpose builds patient's confidence, as they feel safe, especially in social situations, and they do not have to change clothes frequently during the day.
Patients undergo this treatment especially in the summer to reduce the use of deodorants or antiperspirants and to control their sweating and its smell.
Botox® is applied on the surface of the skin and it is a simple procedure that takes 30 minutes and allows the patient to continue with their normal schedule after the session.
The FDA approved the use of botulinum toxin for decreasing axillary sweat.
